Talking yesterday of Carol winning my giveaway reminded me that, last week, I actually won something – a bottle of Harvey’s Bristol Cream Sherry – a whole litre of it. I never win anything! I went to a charity bring and buy coffee morning, bought a strip of raffle tickets and thought nothing more until, later that morning, there was a knock on the door and my friend J presented me with it. She had decided on my behalf that I would prefer it to the Lambrusco and Appletise – how right she was. Mind you, I can’t remember when I last had a glass of sherry … ah well … it’s coming up to Christmas.
The sherry bottle is a beautiful rich blue so, as it’s Harvey’s BRISTOL Cream, the blue must represent the famous Bristol Blue Glass.
I’m meant to be completing my tax form, not blogging, so better publish this before Mr Dancing comes to check my progress!
