I’m married with four lovely children - two of my own and two inherited. On 4 July 2010 my beautiful grandson arrived – known on this blog as Little Man Dancing. On 4 May 2011 Little Man Dancing II (Mr Dancing’s gorgeous grandson) arrived.
On 9 July 2011, there was another addition to the family – an Italian Spinone puppy called Kizzy.
There have been two more additions to the family since I first wrote this: Little Men Dancing III and IV arrived on 8 April 2012 and 15 May 2012 – their original due dates were just 4 days apart (2 and 6 May) but babies don’t have calendars and it turned out that, instead of 4 days’ between them, the difference is 5 weeks and 2 days.
I love taking photographs and use mainly a Nikon D40, although I still have my old Fuji Finepix S5100 and in July 2010 I completed an Open University Digital Photography Course.
Update: The Fuji Finepix has been donated to the Younger Mr Dancing and I now have, in addition to the Nikon, an Olympus PEN EP-2.
I was born in Bedfordshire where I lived until I was 11, was then in North Devon for 7 years and have lived in South Devon and Somerset. I’ve been in Wiltshire for 27 years.
I don’t normally take photos of myself in the bathroom but I needed an up-to-date profile picture so took the one above on my birthday in December 2008!
Realising that one is now out-of-date here’s one taken December 2009 – now part of a Birthday in the Bathroom series. (Next time I’ll dust the mirror first!)
