Well, we set off for North Devon this morning for the day to visit Mum and see two of my sisters – an absolutely glorious day.
On the way, I had the following message around 10am from the C2C Man “Morning all! After 5 miles this morning and 2x long climbs made it to Northumberland! Up to about the 90 mile mark now another 25 today and 24 tomorrow!”
Then … later on …
“Well we’ve finished! Made it to the sea in Sunderland 149 miles later (a few wrong turns on the way). We were going to stop en-route today but decided to carry on and ended up doing 62 miles instead of 32.
Attached is a pic of us having a dip.”
So …. well done …. 149 miles! Phew! They did it a day quicker than planned.
