Bit by bit, the shed is disappearing. I guess that, as I type this, there is probably very little of it left as there is much banging and clattering outside.
Mr Dancing has made 2 trips today to the recycle centre with the wood neatly cut to fit into the car! Incidentally, if you are worried about the newt, it was safely deposited at the other end of the garden.
Talking of safely deposited, I had a text message to say that S and P have arrived in Barcelona and that it is lovely and warm. As you can tell from the photos above, the sun is still sadly absent here – I’ve just looked out the window and seen the teeniest bit of blue sky through the clouds – oh no – it’s just gone again – the story of our summer.

We visited Barcelona a few years back. I would like to return, it is a great city. I have almost forgotten what blue sky looks like, yet again I am looking out to grey and damp weather. Are you going to have more space to garden or replace the shed? I am glad the newt is OK, I daresay you unearthed a few spiders too. x

Behind the (now completely demolished) shed is a garden gate leading to the side of the garden. This part of the garden is a “dead” area and we are considering putting another shed there accessed through the gate – which would free up space. However, the jury is still out – we are assessing the situation.
Had a text from Barcelona and after a couple of days tour bussing and shopping they are relaxing by the pool!

I have never seen a man take a shed down!! my OH is always putting them up.
Couldn’t you put a canapy over the “Dead space” and have it as a secret hideway.

Well… I could put a canopy over the dead space but it is accessible by all from the front garden … but we are thinking about putting a shed there …. it’s getting like shed city here!
